Can I Use My Cell Phone to Add Clients?
Sure, as long as you have a data plan that includes your work area. When you turn on an alert, a pop-up will appear on your phone. As soon as you connect to the network at work, the notification will be dismissed.
If you’re not working in a range of the desired wireless signal, your event or alert will still show up on your calendar and sound as if it’s coming from your cell phone. When adding clients via the computer, enter their contact information into the email field and hit send. A few seconds later, they’ll receive an email with instructions on how to sign up.
Tips to Stay Organized in Today’s Modern World
- Download the ShiftSmart app (in the App Store or Google Play Store)
- On your phone, download the chrome extension (Chrome web store) which will pop up with a notification on your screen when you have a shift coming up.
- Install it and then it will ask you if you want to sync it with your Google account. If you do, the Chrome extension will automatically alert you of upcoming shifts by popping up on your screen.
- For those who do not have an iPhone or Android device, they can set notifications through the ShiftSmart website by clicking Notifications in their left sidebar menu
- Once notifications are enabled on both accounts, they will be able to see their alerts from either device!
