My Cherrycreek student portal offers an array of features designed to help you improve your educational experience, and it also provides you with access to the latest school news and events. With so many new features in place, it can be difficult to know how to navigate the site when you first sign up for it, but with this short guide on Cherrycreek’s student portal, you’ll get an overview of the portal’s most useful features and tips on how to get the most out of your online experiences at Cherrycreek High School!

What is a Student Portal?

A My Cherrycreek student portal is a virtual space where students can manage and keep track of their school life, activities, grades, exams, schedules, classes, extracurriculars, and much more. Student portals are a convenient way for students to have all of their information in one place and are an integral part of managing every aspect of their studies. A Student Portal is a website that allows students to register for classes, see their transcripts, view/pay tuition bills, and update personal information like emergency contacts and physical addresses. You can also use it to enroll in any financial aid programs you may be eligible for or apply for the Work Study program at MyCherrycreek.

How do I access My Cherrycreek ?

In order to access your My Cherrycreek account, you will need to navigate through the District menu bar and click on the Student Portal link. Once you do this, you should see a list of login options which include Administrator Login, District Homepage, Building Homepage, and many more. If you are an administrator in the district, select that option and enter your username and password. If not, select District Homepage to get started. The first thing you’ll want to do is update your profile information. You can also change your display name if you want it to be different from what it was when you first logged in. The third thing is where things start getting really interesting!

In My cherrycreek, you can use your Student ID number and PIN to access information like transcripts, schedules, registration, financial aid, and more. You can also receive personalized messages on the portal for helpful updates or reminders about upcoming deadlines. One of my favorite features is being able to contact my teachers through email or texting. I usually ask them questions about assignments before school starts and it helps me stay on top of things! The only downside is that it doesn’t always work well with mobile devices which means I have to rely on other tools if I’m not at home.

How Are Workbooks Accessible in the Student Portal?

Students will be able to access their workbooks in the My cherrycreek Student Portal through the Course Content tab. Clicking on Book List will show all of the books they have already purchased and saved to their account. Clicking on any book will allow students to view that specific book from anywhere with internet access. If a student has purchased and saved more than one edition of a workbook, they will see them listed separately in the Book List with a synopsis of each.

What Happens When I Don’t Have Internet Access?

Unfortunately, there are times when an internet connection isn’t available. That’s why we have a backup system that automatically downloads and saves course materials so they can be accessed at any time, even if you’re offline. You may also download the documents to your computer so that you can view them when not connected to the internet. As long as you have the filename of your downloaded document(s), you can navigate to the My Downloads folder on either Chrome or Safari for viewing offline.

What Are Webassign, Quizslide, and Examview?

Webassign, Quizslide, and Examview are made to help students learn the material. They provide all of the study materials and can be accessed anywhere with an internet connection. These tools allow students to create quizzes or exams. With Webassign, you can also find hints that point you in the right direction if you are stuck on a question. Quizslide is a more modern way of presenting slides for your audience to follow along with the lectures when in person or online. You can import PowerPoint presentations or create them from scratch.

Webassign is geared towards math, science, and engineering majors while Quizslide is geared towards humanities majors. Examview offers practice exams in over 30 subjects like accounting, chemistry, and physics. You can see how many questions you missed as well as get feedback on each question as soon as you finish it so that you know what parts of the exam require more work.
